Site Master Plan
Creating a warm, inviting welcome to the site with high visibility from Carver and Cameron School Roads influenced the orientation of facilities and development of outdoor spaces. Spaces are organized to give a “campus feel” centered around a courtyard with an attractive, natural foreground. You will see the “gas easement” (50 ft wide) located on the site plan. We are restricted from building in this area. The current plan shows a campus developed around the easement area in Phase 1 with the option to move the gas line in the future (if desired). The Site Master Plan (colored area) shows approximately 75,000 sq ft of facility on about 40 acres. Current planning anticipates development of the site in three phases. Supporting our desire for community connection (“People First”), Phase 1 envisions a number of multi-use gathering spaces for recreational, presentation, and community opportunities. This initial phase will also support our current ministry with youth and college. Phase 2 space would primarily center on our future children’s ministry. Phase 3 would focus on a future worship center and administrative space.
Site Plan Phase 1
The site entrance off Carver Road is directly across from the country club entrance to accommodate access restrictions by Story County. The structure is angled slightly on the site to enhance approach presentation and fit with the eventual master plan.
