GROWTH GROUPS

Growth Groups (small groups) are the key way to get connected and be encouraged to grow spiritually here at First Evangelical Free Church of Ames.
 
You can sign up during the weekend services via the bulletin tab or by contacting Joyce (jmennecke@amesefc.org) at the church office (515) 232-2765) during the week. 

We believe spiritual growth flows out of two basic commitments:
• A commitment to God and the Bible.
• A commitment to significant Christian relationships.

To help develop these significant relationships, we have created "Growth Groups."
It is our goal to have every member of our church involved in either a Growth Group or another similar small group experience.


We are now offering Sermon-Based Growth Groups. These home Bible study groups require a ten-week commitment, and are comprised of 10-16 people. They meet weekly to share, to study God's Word and to support one another spiritually. Some of the groups are beginning to study a sermon-based curriculum. The majority of our weekend adult attendance participates in Growth Groups.
