New to First Free?

So you're new to First Free?  We'd love to get to know you... and give you a chance to get to know us.

When to arrive?  Worship services will give you the basics about our various Sunday services.  Choose a time and come early to allow time for parking.

Where to go?   Map & directions will lead you here.

What can I expect as a first time guest?

We realize that visiting a church for the first time can be an uncomfortable experience. We make every attempt to ease your apprehension and make you feel welcome at First EFC. When you walk into the front doors, you will find a Welcome Center directly in front of you. This Welcome Center is there with you in mind! If you need to know where to take your child, or where the restrooms are, you can ask one of our friendly volunteers. If you want more information about our church, or would like to request a copy of one of our services on CD, the Welcome Center is the place to do that.

As you walk into the main area of the Worship Center, you will be offered one of our Welcome Gift Bags. This bag contains helpful information about our church family and events going on at First EFC. As you find a seat, and settle into the service, don't worry, we won't ask you to stand as a first-time guest, or embarrass you in any way.

We view ourselves as a family, and we welcome you to join us!

Visit opportunities for connecting to find a variety of ways to begin plugging in to First Free, at your own pace.

The pastoral staff and leadership welcome you!   Please let us know how we can help you.

Youth Ministries

What are you looking for? Friends? Fun? God? A place to belong? Someone to count on? Something to do? Someplace to go? Somewhere to use your gifts?

Good News! I think you’ll find it here. Some students are close to God and others feel far away. We hope you can get closer to God by getting closer to His people. We’re NOT perfect but most of us are on the same path you are on.

Probably the first step for you might be to check out the weekly activities for Middle School or High School students.  It may take a few weeks for you to connect with us but we really want you to feel included.  Contact me, Brent Thomas, if you want to get plugged in: bthomas@amesefc.org.
