Volunteer for Carver Road Building Projects!
Saturday, October 4th, a small group of people from the church worked together to pick up rocks and weeds from the 4.77 acres of the property that were seeded August 30th. Six buckets of rocks and countless buckets of weeds were pulled and removed from the grassy area.
We need to have another crew to come and finish pulling weeds and picking up more rocks.

Saturday, August 30th, a team of people from the church worked together to seed 4.77 acres of the property. Specifically, the future football/soccer field in the south east portion of the property. Over 800 pounds of fertilizer was used and approximately 175 pounds of grass seed!

This fall we need a 900 foot fence, 3 football fields in length, built around the south west portion of our property. The county has mandated the fence be put up and planning has begun!
We can use tools, people to help with hammers, screw guns, people holding boards, and much, much more!
November will call for seeding of the prairie plantings and native grass areas. Planning for this will begin soon! If you are interested, please let use know!
As the site progresses and the building shell goes up there will be a need to clean up the site each day or week. This would include sweeping, picking up trash inside and outside the building, and emptying trash. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please let us know!
Another group of people is being assembled to minister to the workers. A couple of ideas include, but are not limited to, washing their cars and serving them lunch.

There are other ways to get involved! Pray for the workers personal and professional lives, for safety as they work on the site, for salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ in their personal lives! Pray for the team from First Evangelical Free Church as they plan, interact, and work with Story Construction and all the other contractors working on the Phase 1 project.
